New England Country Mart (NECM) is a premium, family-owned fresh produce and grocery home delivery service born out of 4th-generation wholesale produce company J.W. Lopes at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. For more than 100 years, J.W. Lopes and the Kotzen family brought a farm-to-table approach to the wholesale produce business in the Greater-Boston area, and are known for providing fresh premium produce to restaurants, institutions, and grocers.
These same values and expertise were critical to building the foundation for New England Country Mart. NECM strives to deliver the freshest, most sustainable, nutrient-dense foods we can find in every corner of New England. We carry the best and most unique products you’d find at your favorite New England farmer’s markets and specialty stores delivered directly to your door, 6-days per week. We serve the Greater-Boston area with expanded service to Cape Cod, Rhode Island, and Southern New Hampshire offering free delivery with orders over $75.
OUR MISSION: New England Country Mart is committed to unrivaled customer service, freshness, sustainability, and keeping it local, always. We strive to make the incredible bounty produced right here in New England more accessible than ever before, right at your fingertips – with ties to all your local farmer’s market favorites across New England. Here at NECM, we believe food not only provides sustenance and pleasure, but also brings families and communities closer together. Our family and this service has deep roots in the Greater-Boston area, and we maintain the highest standards in the industry.
The NECM commitment to quality and community:
The entire NECM team takes extraordinary steps to ensure customers receive top-notch service together with fresh, premium, restaurant-quality ingredients and groceries. At NECM Safety comes first:
We insist our growers and warehouse handlers adhere to rigorous safety measures at all times. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have further ramped up safety measures as we continue to follow strict protocols and procedures instructed by the CDC and World Health Organization.
