Groceries that Give
As a local small business in the Greater Boston area, we have made it our mission to connect with the communities we serve – whether it’s locally sourcing products from our neighbors across New England, or connecting with organizations and causes through produce and grocery donations that reach those most in need.
Outside of the local partnerships we’ve made with various food banks like MGH Food Pantry, Newton Food Pantry, Newton Public Schools, Hospitality Homes, Wellesley United Church, local Community Fridges, to name a few – –
We are taking it a step further.
We are proud to introduce Groceries that Give. Together with our local partners and producers, we will select one product and one local organization or cause each month. A portion of each sale of that item will be sent to that local organization or cause at the end of that month.
How will we choose the local organization or cause each month?
We feel it wouldn’t be a true community effort if it didn’t involve YOU. Going forward, each month we will choose a recipient based on YOUR suggestions, so please let us know which causes and organizations are close to your heart. Crowd-sourcing these local organizations and causes having the largest impact on the communities they serve is the best and most direct way to give back.
We look forward to learning more and sharing with you the incredible work happening right in our own backyard, and hope that this effort will introduce you some new organizations that are making an impact.
Local Organization Spotlight: January 2022
MISSION: St. Mary’s Center, a multi-service organization supporting women and families, believes shelter is not enough to erase the devastation of cyclical poverty and homelessness. Grounded in social justice, St. Mary’s empowers families to achieve emotional stability and economic independence through education, workforce development, and permanent housing.
VISION: St. Mary’s vision is to partner with women and families as they ascend to a more thriving and stable future. By understanding the root causes of their trauma and providing services they uniquely need, St. Mary’s joins with families in changing their personal trajectory and lead in influencing systemic change.

NECM Kitchen Pre-Cut Fruits & Veggies
NECM Kitchen is our scratch kitchen where everything is small-batch homemade for home-delivery. Who doesn’t love freshly prepared, cut & chopped fruits and veggies? Try our prepared salads, yogurt parfaits, homemade chicken and tuna salads, and Meals like meatballs (don’t forget the fresh pasta!), chicken parm, lasagna, homemade marinara sauce, and more!
