We believe what the world needs now is LOVE! Which is why we are proud to partner with the amazing organizations below, to help us better serve our communities.
We encourage you to check-out our Groceries that Give Initiative. Together with our local partners and producers, we will select one locally made product and one local organization or cause each month. A portion of each sale of that item will be sent to that local organization or cause at the end of that month.
We work with the MGH Food Pantry in Chelsea, MA.
We partner with Hospitality Homes, an organization that provides temporary housing in volunteer host homes and other donated accommodations for families and friends of patients seeking care at Boston-area medical centers.
We deliver boxes of groceries to the Newton Public School Food Table at the Burr School for families in need.
We had our own NECM-led drive to support our Boston-area Health Heroes at the height of the pandemic, sending front-line health workers boxes of food.
Through Wellesley Village Church we provide ingredients for meal preparation to be distributed to Boston Community Fridges. Additionally, this holiday season, we participated in the Love Others Back to Life initiative – donating fresh ingredients and transport of homemade meals prepared at the Wellesley Village Church’s commercial kitchen for delivery to our vulnerable neighbors on “Meth Mile” in Boston.
Madison Park Technical Vocational Highschool Thanksgiving drive – a fundraiser to donate Thanksgiving food and ingredient boxes to as many Madison Park Technical Vocational High School students and families as possible. This effort provides a Thanksgiving meal box that will allow families to enjoy the holiday during an extremely stressful time. Our wholesale business JW Lopes donated all of the fresh vegetables to fill the boxes, and with an incredibly generous donation from one of our New England Country Mart customers, we were able to include a Quebrada Baking Co. pumpkin pie, too!
