VARIETALS | Clairette (50%), Roussanne (30%), Bourboulenc (15%) and Viognier (5%) compose an aromatic symphony modulated by aging in oak and orchestrated by a female sensibility.

ABOUT THE WINEMAKER | Most notably this vineyard dating back to 1860 has been passed down from mother to daughter, and with this, the property has given rise to new vocations. Their spouses from other backgrounds have devoted themselves to a wine and their passion has grown, contributing to improving and diversifying the vineyard. Additionally, herbicides and pesticides are prohibited at Domaine de Montvac. The entire estate is organically grown with Ecocert certification. Cecile Dusserre is the fifth generation, and her daughter Amelie, the sixth.

TASTING NOTES | Powerful, fruity notes. Aromatic accents of Japanese cherry, yellow apples, bergamot. Medium acidity. Bouquet finishes in yellow flowers, plums.

PAIRING NOTES | Melodine is a fine companion for aperitif nibbles, scallops or other seafood – from the subtlest of flavours (sea bass) to the most robust (sardines). It can also round off meals in style, accompanying a platter of cheese!
