TASTING NOTES | Bouquet of tropical fruit and mango. Mouthfeel gives bright, high acidity and medium full body. THis wine has flavors of mango, pineapple, and lime.
WINEMAKER NOTES | Crisp, clean and elegant, the 2019 Sauvignon Blanc is rich with aromas of grapefruit, lime, kiwi, green melon and just a hint of fresh cut green grass. Our slow and very cold fermentations retain the natural complexities of our Rutherford fruit, while developing a balanced mouthfeel that finishes with the crisp acid of this classic dry white varietal.
ABOUT THE VINEYARD | Long Meadow ranch organically farms 90 acres of vineyards in the heart of the Napa Valley – 74 acres of Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvingon vineyards in Rutherford, and 16 acres of mountain vineyards on the Mayacamas Estate The Mayacamas Estate vineyards are carved from a second growth forest at about 1,100 feet elevation. All of our vineyards are farmed using organic practices certified by California Certified Organic Farmers.
