WINEMAKER NOTES | Domaine Montaut is a family farm located in Monein, and has been in the family since 1877, in the Pyrenees -Atlantiques. Bernadette, Ferdinand, and their son Nicolas make every effort to produce quality Jurancon wines and introduce them to amateurs and enthusiasts of local products. Independent winemakers, the Montaut family operates a small estate of five hectares of vines.
TASTING NOTES | As a classic Jurancon sec, Peyre Blanque (White Stone), offers a mineral nose well-balanced by citrus aromas on the palate. This wine has fruit aromas, leaving a supple finish full of balance and suppleness. Peyre Blanque will be well suited for a wide range of food pairings such as fish, poultry, cheese, pasta, and pork.
