2020 Buondonno – Rosso Toscana (750ML)

WINEMAKER NOTES | Gabriele and Valeria purchased the farm, located in Casavecchia alla Piazza on the hills of Chianti Classico, in 1988. Since the beginning they farmed organically as they wanted to make their wine in a natural environment. Rosso Toscana is from their youngest vines. It’s made from 90-100% Sangiovese, although small percentages of Canaiolo, Merlot and Syrah are sometimes present in the wine, as it grows with the Sangiovese. Brief on-skin maceration in vats for 12-15 days. Aged in a combination of oak barrels and stainless steel vats.
