MaryLou is one of our partners and one of our bakers and organizers and all around gals. There are no words to completely thank her for all she does around these parts. The very least we can do is name her favorite flavor whoopie pie after her! She rocks our world, here at Cape Whoopies! We have a childhood memory of chocolate fudge with peanut butter topping that sings to us, even today. Our chocolate cakes are sinfully rich and made with Bensdorp chocolate from Holland. We fill these babies with butter and cream cheese to add to the richness. It’s almost a melt in your mouth chocolate cake, a bit crunchy on the surface but pure, smooth, yet robust chocolate all the way through.

This delight is filled to overflowing with chunky peanut buttercream. We process our own peanut butter so it’s as fresh as it can be. Add butter and marshmallow and it will call you in. Once this amazing concoction is slathered on our chocolate- melt-in-your-mouth cakes, you’ll be transported to your youth, once again, and be reminded of all the deliciousness of fudge and peanut butter. This gourmet whoopie pie is truly enchanting!

Ingredients
Chocolate cake ingredients: sugar, cage-free eggs, butter (cream and salt), flour (unbleached hard wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), cream cheese (pasteurized nonfat milk and milkfat, cheese culture, whey protein concentrate, salt, guar gum, carob bean gum), cocoa, baking powder (sodium acid pyrophosphate, sodium bicarbonate, corn starch and monocalcium phosphate), vanilla, salt.

Peanut Butter filling ingredients: sugar, butter (cream and salt), peanuts, salt, peanut butter extract, water, cage-free egg whites, modified corn starch, tapioca flour.
