Latkes, traditional thin potato pancakes, that have been made for generations in Inna’s family from Belarus. They are made with grated potatoes, not shredded, so they can be crisp on the outside but tender on the inside.
They are lightly baked then frozen, and ready to be finished at home to desired crispness.
Oven Method (recommended): Can be heated in oven directly from freezer. Preheat oven to 450°F. Line baking sheet with foil or parchment. Lay latkes in single layer. Bake 10-15 minutes to desired crispness. They can be flipped after 10 minutes for more even browning.
Skillet: They can be defrosted then fried with a little oil in skillet over medium-high heat, frying 2-4 minutes on each side. Avoid oil smoking.
Ingredients: Potato, onion, egg, potato starch, chickpea flour, canola oil, salt & pepper.
