Crispy Baked Salmon with Pickled Onions

This salmon recipe is from one of our newest partners, Alexandra Riley located on Cape Cod. It features one of our favorite seasonings – everything but the bagel seasoning from local company, A Seasoned Chef.

  1. Preheat Oven to 400 degrees
  2. Put everything bagel season in a small bowl
  3. Generously sprinkle salmon with salt and pepper and press skinless side into the seasoning mixture to coat
  4. Heat oil in a large oven safe heavy pan over medium high heat
  5. Add salmon seed side down and sear 3-4 minutes – flip salmon
  6. Transfer pan with salmon into oven and cook 6-8 minutes, until fish is fully cooked

Pickled Onions

  1. Thinly slice red onion and put in a mason jar packed to the bottom
  2. Add the vinegars, water, salt and honey to a saucepan and simmer until combined
  3. Pour over onions and let sit until cooled
  4. Seal the jar and store in the refrigerator overnight and up to two weeks
  5. Cut salmon into chunks or leave as filets
  6. Top over spinach and whatever fixings you would like
  7. Add the pickled onions
