Easy Garlic Baked Shrimp

You had us at easy! Who doesn’t love a garlicky, buttery, white wine sauce? Especially when it’s packed with lean protein (i.e. shrimp). This recipe comes from one of our newest NECM partners, Kim Ma. It’s quick and only requires a few ingredients.
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ pounds raw shrimp, peeled and de-veined
- 6 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
- 3 tablespoons white wine
- Salt & pepper
- ¼ cup (4 tablespoons) melted butter
- ½ cup breadcrumbs (Panko or Italian)
- 1–2 tablespoons freshly-squeezed lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons fresh Italian-leaf parsley, chopped
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 425°F
- While the oven is pre-heating, combine the shrimp, garlic, and white wine in a mixing bowl and toss to combine
- Transfer shrimp mixture to a 9×13 baking sheet/dish and lay out evenly. Season with salt and pepper
- In a bowl, stir together the melted butter and breadcrumbs then evenly over the shrimp
- Bake shrimp in the oven for about 7 minutes – until the shrimp start to turn pink – then switch the oven to Broil on High for about 2-3 minutes so the shrimp cook through and the breadcrumbs gets toasted, turning slightly golden
- Remove shrimp from oven. Add the final touches with a drizzle of lemon juice and sprinkle of parsley and your shrimp is ready to serve
