Matcha Chocolate Chip Brownies


If you followed along with our friend Sarah, when we first launched our Japanese food-grade matcha in bulk, you learned how to make matcha lattes, and matcha energy balls – YUM! Luckily, we have another matcha expert in the NECM Kitchen, Chris Phat. This time he is showing us how to use matcha in a dessert. This recipe is easy, fun, and something you won’t find at the grocery store. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
- 1/4 Cup NECM Matcha Powder
- 1/2 Cup All Purpose Flour
- 1/4 TSP Baking Powder
- 1/2 TSP Vanilla Extract
- 1 Cup NECM Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips
- 4 TBSP Butter Melted
- 3 TBSP Vegetable Oil
- 2 Eggs
Directions:
- Preheat Oven to 350°F
- In a Mixing Bowl Whisk Eggs with Sugar, Melted Butter & Vanilla Extract, Oil
- Add All Purpose Flour
- Add Matcha Green Tea Powder
- Add Baking Powder
- Mix Dry Ingredients Together with Egg Mixture
- Add Chocolate Chips & Mix
- Place Parchment Paper on Baking Sheet
- Pour & Spread Batter Evenly
- Bake for 20-25 mins
- Once Baked, Cool Down & Cut Into Squares
