Matcha Two Ways

Matcha is believed to have cancer-fighting effects. Studies have also linked this green tea to a variety of health benefits including preventing heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and aiding weight-loss. Don’t treat this ingredient like a passing a trend, it is MUCH more. Thank you to our friend Sarah for helping bring these amazing matcha recipes to life.

Oat Milk Matcha Latte

Ingredients:

  • Oak Milk
  • Japanese matcha powder
  • Maple syrup

Directions:

  1. Warm 1 1/4 cup of oat milk over the stove
  2. Add 1 tbsp matcha & 1 tbsp of maple syrup to oat milk & whisk
  3. Pour in you favorite mug and enjoy!

Matcha Balls

Ingredients:

  •  4 tsp Japanese matcha powder
  • 3/4 cup raw almonds
  • 3-4 tbsp unsweetened coconut flakes
  • 2 tsp coconut oil
  • 1 cup pitted dates
  • 1 tbsp Vermont maple syrup
  • Splash of vanilla extract
  • Pinch of sea salt

Directions:

  1.  Blend almonds in food processor
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients & blend until combined
  3. Roll into balls & store in the fridge
