Matcha Two Ways
Matcha is believed to have cancer-fighting effects. Studies have also linked this green tea to a variety of health benefits including preventing heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and aiding weight-loss. Don’t treat this ingredient like a passing a trend, it is MUCH more. Thank you to our friend Sarah for helping bring these amazing matcha recipes to life.
Oat Milk Matcha Latte
Ingredients:
- Oak Milk
- Japanese matcha powder
- Maple syrup
Directions:
- Warm 1 1/4 cup of oat milk over the stove
- Add 1 tbsp matcha & 1 tbsp of maple syrup to oat milk & whisk
- Pour in you favorite mug and enjoy!
Matcha Balls
Ingredients:
- 4 tsp Japanese matcha powder
- 3/4 cup raw almonds
- 3-4 tbsp unsweetened coconut flakes
- 2 tsp coconut oil
- 1 cup pitted dates
- 1 tbsp Vermont maple syrup
- Splash of vanilla extract
- Pinch of sea salt
Directions:
- Blend almonds in food processor
- Add the rest of the ingredients & blend until combined
- Roll into balls & store in the fridge
