Sugared Cranberries


Have you ever had a sugared cranberry in your cosmo? ‘Tis the season! These sugared sweets would even sit well in a glass of bubbles, a mocktail, or a garnish on a dessert table/plate. Jackie promises it’s worth it!
Ingredients:
- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- 1.5 cups of sugar, separated
- 1 cup water
Directions:
- In a small saucepan, bring the water and 3/4 cup of sugar to a simmer, and stir until the sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat
- Add cranberries to the syrup and pour cranberries and syrup into a container with a tight fitting lid. Store in the refrigerator overnight
- The next day, lay out a sheet of parchment paper. Strain the cranberries in a sieve. Toss the remaining 3/4 cup of sugar on the cranberries and place the cranberries on the parchment paper to dry for a few hours
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge
